Everything will remain close in the state except essential services in Maharashtra, CM announces restrictions
Chief Minister of Maharashtra said COVID-19 cases are exploding dangerously, while addressing the people of the state,he said that till date the state government is increasing the restrictions imposed. He said Section 144 has been imposed in the state. Any person should get out of their homes as soon as necessary work is done.
The CM announced that everything would be closed except essential services in the state. However public bus service will not be discontinued. Along with this, e-commerce facilities and petrol pumps will be open. Also, the bank will continue its operations. You cannot eat food while sitting in a hotel. Take away and home delivery from Holat will continue.
He said in his address that Maharashtra has the highest death toll. This has put a lot of pressure on the state government. The CM said that the children should not have to play with their lives, so we have extended the exam date.
CM said that there is a shortage of oxygen in the hospitals of the state. I am telling you these things on purpose. Till when we will only keep discussing. If this time is out of our hands, then it will be a problem.
He said that the hospital increased in the state, the beds increased, yet the corona in the state could not be controlled. In the hospitals of the state, the entire use of oxygen is being done only on healthcare. 100 percent oxygen is being used only to save people’s lives. The system can crash at any time.
CM said that we have appealed in a meeting with PM Modi to provide oxygen to us. Oxygen is being obtained from Bengal. Therefore, we should be allowed to bring oxygen from other states.
He said we need oxygen straight away. Until oxygen reaches our hospitals, the situation here is getting worse. It will take time to bring oxygen from distant states. Therefore, make oxygen available by airlift.
Uddhav Thackeray assured the people of the state that we will fight and win this war. He said the increasing number of patients is frightening. Medicines are running low. We are going to increase this healthcare in the coming days. We are doing what is possible.
