Uttarakhand Chief Minister said that all educational institutions in the state should be closed, strictly follow COVID rules
Chief Minister Tirath Singh Rawat reviewed the situation of COVID-19 in the state by videoconferencing with the District Magistrates. The Chief Minister said that the guidelines issued for Covid should be strictly followed. Covid care centers should be strengthened in every district. All educational institutions in the state should be closed. Checking should be done with utmost seriousness on the borders of the state. People of other states coming into the state should not be allowed without negative report of RTPCR. The system of registration should be ensured for the expatriates coming back to Uttarakhand. For this, the portal of the previous time should be reactivated. On returning home, home quarantine should be made compulsory for migrants.
The Chief Minister said that there is a need to seek the cooperation of local people’s representatives. To increase the morale of the frontline workers working in the ground. Our health workers and other frontline workers should not be infected. All kind of care should be taken for this, immunization has to be accelerated further.
Additional Chief Secretary Smt. Radha Ratuli, DGP Ashok Kumar, Secretary Amit Negi, Nitesh Jha, Shailesh Bagoli, Dr. Pankaj Kumar Pandey, and other officials were present in the meeting.
