Corona curfew extended till May 10 in Nainital district, DM Nainital issued orders
In view of the transition of Corona, District Magistrate Dhiraj Singh Garbyal has extended the Corona curfew imposed across the district till May 10 (Monday). The curfew will remain in effect till 5 am in this period.
Finance Revenue Surendra Singh Jangpangi said that according to the new guidelines of the government, only 25 people will be allowed by the administration in marriage, marriage and other social gatherings, while more than 20 people will not be able to attend the funeral and the last rites. He told that shops related to building construction related materials will also be open till 12 noon. He told that petrol pumps and medical stores will be open continuously and domestic gas will also be distributed.
Mr. Jangpangi said that fruit vegetable shops, dairy, bakery, meat, fish (licensee only) shops, ration shops, government-run shops, cattle feed shops will be open till 12 noon in the respective areas. Petrol pumps, gas supplies and medicine shops will be open all the time. He said that the government vehicles connected with essential services will be allowed to travel only for duty. Train, people traveling by bus will be exempted from commuting.
According to the new guidelines issued by the government, only 25 people will be allowed in marriage, marriage and other social functions. No more than 25 people will be involved in these events. He told that construction works will be going on for the public interest and the personnel associated with them and vehicles of construction materials will be allowed to travel. And there will be exemption in arrival of industrial units and their vehicles. Home delivery from restaurants and sweets shops will be exempt. He told that the vehicles related to the funeral procession will be exempted and no more than 20 persons will be involved in the last rites. Traffic on goods carrier vehicles will be exempt. The vehicles of the people going to the hospital for real treatment will be exempted from traffic and COVID-19 will be allowed to travel to the nearest center for examination and vaccination, the post office and bank will be open in due course.
He said that personnel associated with COVID-19 duty will be exempted from traveling for duty. Insurance office and office workers will be exempted for traveling for duty and personnel connected with telecommunication, internet service and cable service will be exempted for duty traffic. He clarified that all the offices in the district have been exempted from this.
