Uttar Pradesh : From Monday, the vaccination of 18 plus people will be done in 23 districts, administration starts preparations
There is a continuous decrease in the number of new corona patients in Uttar Pradesh. On Friday, a total of 15747 new cases of corona were reported in the state while 26174 people were discharged after recovering. Meanwhile, the state government has decided that from May 17, the campaign for vaccination of people in the age group of 18 to 44 in the state will run in 23 districts.
Additional Chief Secretary Health Amit Mohan Prasad has said that at present the total number of active patients of Corona in the state is 193815. So far 1385855 people have recovered from Corona. The recovery rate is 86.8 percent. So far 11382604 people have been given the first dose of vaccine in the state and 3054258 people have been given the second dose of vaccine. There have been 312 deaths due to corona in the state in the last 24 hours.
According to the data released by the Health Department on Friday, in the last 24 hours, the maximum number of 1464 new cases have been found in Meerut. 900 Lucknow Cases have been found.
Oxygen plant started in 15 hospitals
On the other hand, Additional Chief Secretary Information Dr. Navneet Sehgal has informed that the supply of oxygen is constantly being increased in the state. Plants for making oxygen from the atmosphere are being set up. The work of setting up oxygen plants in 377 hospitals of the state is going on fast. Oxygen production has started from the plants in 15 hospitals.
