Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that there has been a decrease in cases of corona virus infection in the state and the government has already started preparations to deal with the third wave of this epidemic. The Chief Minister said that the State Government is very serious about ‘Black Fungus’ and a special plan has been prepared for its treatment. Adityanath, who reached Gautam Buddha Nagar, said that after the second wave of corona virus, there is a fear that the third wave of this epidemic is coming.
Yogi said that children and women are being considered more at risk from this infection and keeping this in mind, dedicated hospitals for women and children are being prepared in all the districts of the state and 2200 ambulances of 102 numbers are being provided to women and Has been devoted to the treatment of children. The Chief Minister said that the state government has started an awareness campaign regarding the ‘black fungus’ infection and complete preparations have been made for its treatment. He told that people are being told that this disease is caused by taking more steroids and higher levels of diabetes.
The Chief Minister said that cases of ‘Black Fungus’ are also coming up, in such a situation, the Monitoring Committee is working in the village too and a group has been formed with ‘Black Fungus’. Adityanath said that the investigation process has been speeded up after the reported infection of Corona virus in rural areas and COVID-19 investigation camps are being set up in villages. The Chief Minister said that medical kits are being made available to the people who are being treated separately at home and information is being taken about their health by constantly contacting them.
Recovery rate rising in UP – Yogi
Adityanath said that three oxygen producing plants are being set up in Gautam Budh Nagar, which will make Gautam Budh Nagar self-sufficient in the matter of oxygen in future. He claimed that the rate of infection-free infection of the corona virus in the state is continuously increasing and the rate of infection is continuously declining, which has come down from 16.33 percent in April to 4.8 percent now. Adityanath said that the state has become the most investigated state of Corona virus where 2.5 lakh samples are being tested on an average every day.
According to the Chief Minister, till now three crore people have been given anti-COVID vaccine free. He said that 1,080 metric tonnes of oxygen is being supplied in the state and more than 72 hours of reserve oxygen is available in all the districts. The Chief Minister also informed that a global tender has been issued for the arrangement of a cryogenic tanker for smooth transportation of oxygen. He said that keeping in view the circumstances arising out of COVID-19, three kg wheat and two kg rice are being provided free of cost to every member for three months every month for three months.
