Rajasthan Chief Minister spoke to PM, raised issue of oxygen crisis
Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot spoke to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the status of COVID-19, he also cited the oxygen crisis in the state and hoped that the central government would soon meet the supply of life i.e. oxygen shortage.
While tweeting, CM Gehlot wrote, discussed the situation of COVID in Rajasthan with PM Narendra Modi and made him aware of the current status of COVID and demanded oxygen based on the number of patients. The PM assured to resolve the issue as soon as possible. It was also discussed with Railway Minister Piyush Goyal. It is expected that the Center will soon increase the allocation of oxygen to the state.
Gehlot also said that he has also requested Defense Minister Rajnath Singh to continue to use the services of the Indian Air Force to send an empty oxygen tanker. He also demanded that the number of oxygen plants to be set up by DRDO be increased to 15 in view of the geographical expansion of the state.
