‘COVID Toolkit’ Rahul Gandhi spoke on the matter, said – Truth is not afraid
Former Congress president Rahul Gandhi said a day after the Delhi Police raided the offices of micro-blogging website Twitter in the alleged ‘COVID Toolkit’ case that the truth is not afraid. He tweeted with the hashtag toolkit, “Truth is not afraid.” The team of Special Cell of Delhi Police raided Twitter India offices in Delhi and Gurugram on Monday evening in connection with the investigation of the alleged ‘COVID Toolkit’ case hit. The special cell sent a notice to Twitter over the alleged ‘Kovid-19 Toolkit’ complaint and sought an explanation from the micro-blogging site for referring BJP leader Sambit Patra’s tweet as “tampered”. Last week, Twitter described Patra’s tweet related to the alleged toolkit as “tampered with”.
The BJP alleges that the Congress, by creating a toolkit, described the new form of Corona virus as the Indian form or Modi form and tried to tarnish the image of the country and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. However, the Congress rejected the allegations, claiming that the BJP was resorting to fake toolkits to discredit it. The Congress has also registered a case of ‘forgery’ in the police against several senior BJP leaders.
