The scope of exemption will be increased according to the reduction in active cases of Corona: Ashok Gehlot CM Rajasthan
Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has said that limited relaxation has been given in various activities to ensure convenience of common people and availability of essential services and goods in the state and as the number of active cases of corona will reduce, the exemption will be reduced. The range will be further expanded.
Gehlot said that the state government has decided to implement a three-tier public discipline modified lockdown from Wednesday till further orders to give relief in commercial and other activities in view of the reduction in the spread of Kovid infection in most of the districts and the decline in the positivity rate.
He said that the rate of infection has come down in the state, but the infection is not completely eradicated yet. Keeping this in mind, the new guideline is expected to ensure effective compliance of the Kovid Protocol to all the citizens.
The Chief Minister said that according to the positive matters in the new guideline, Gram Panchayat and district have been divided into three categories Green, Yellow and Red. Gram Panchayats, which will not have a single positive case, will be in the Green category, Yellow if there are five and less active cases, it will be placed in the Red category if there are more than five active cases. Similarly, a district which does not have a single active case on one lakh population, will be placed in Green and Yellow up to 100 active cases on one lakh population and Red category if there are more than 100 active cases.
After his instructions, the Home Department issued new guidelines in this regard on Monday. In the revised lockdown guidelines, exemption for various activities can be given only in those places where the positivity rate is less than ten percent or the use of oxygen, ICU and ventilator beds will be less than sixty percent.
