3,725 crore loan received from SBI for Jewar airport
State Bank of India has sanctioned a loan of Rs 3,725 crore to Yamuna International Airport Pvt Ltd (YIAPL) for the construction of Noida International Airport at Jewar, Uttar Pradesh. We are delighted to partner with the country’s largest State Bank of India (SBI) for the Noida International Airport, said the Chief Executive Officer of YIAPL today. A total loan of Rs 3,725 crore has been sanctioned which is to be repaid in 20 years. We look forward to working with SBI towards making Noida airport world class.
YIAPL is a wholly owned sole purpose company of Jurik Airport
International which has been constructed for the development of Jewar Airport. The Government of Uttar Pradesh has signed a concession agreement with YIAPL for the development of this airport.
The company is executing this project under Public Private Partnership. The Government of Uttar Pradesh, the New Delhi Okhla Industrial Development Authority and the Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority are the public partners.
The company said that it is waiting for the state government to complete the rehabilitation and resettlement process. After this the construction work of the airport will start.
