Bihar at the bottom of NITI Aayog’s SDG ranking, Lalu, Tejashwi taunt the government
The Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leaders have targeted Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, taking a jibe at Bihar’s worst performance in NITI Aayog’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) India Index 2020-21.
Tagged with his official Twitter handle, RJD chief Lalu Prasad tweeted and wrote, “Congratulations! After all, after 16 years of Bihar’s hard work, Bihar has been made from bottom to top.
Here, RJD leader and former Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav has also targeted Chief Minister Nitish Kumar after this figure became public.
Tweeting from his official Twitter handle, Tejashwi wrote on Friday, “Bihar is at the bottom with the worst performance in the NITI Aayog report for the third consecutive year due to Nitish Kumar’s ruling short-sighted policies, wrong decisions and incompetent leadership.
He further wrote that, this is the essence, truth and real face of BJP-Nitish with evidence of 16 years of paper development.
Tejashwi took a dig at another tweet and wrote, “Many congratulations to the driver of the double engine government for this very poor performance. Kerala did not give a single seat to the BJP and has secured the first rank. Bihar, which gave 39 out of 40 seats to the BJP and its allies, did poorly.
It is noteworthy that on Thursday, the index for Sustainable Development Goals was released by NITI Aayog, in which Kerala topped with 75 points while Bihar was the laggard.
