Himachal Pradesh : Chief Minister congratulates Amit Negi
Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur today congratulated Amit Negi of Batseri village in district Kinnaur for recently conquering Mount Everest, the world’s highest peak.
Jai Ram Thakur said that his achievement would prove helpful in motivating the youth of the state. The Chief Minister said that he himself presented the national flag to Amit Negi on March 19, 2021 in Shimla.
Chief Minister congratulates Baljit Kaur on achieving Pumori summit
Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur has congratulated Baljit Kaur for achieving Pumori Parfatih, one of the most difficult peaks of the Everest Massif in Nepal.
He said that Baljit Kaur hails from district Solan and was part of a 12-member team formed to conquer all the four peaks of the Everest Massif expedition. The goal of this two-month-long expedition was to make the first Indian ascents on the Nuptse and Pumori mountains, besides the most difficult climbs to the Lhotse and Everest peaks.
Appreciating the efforts of Baljit Kaur, the Chief Minister wished her a successful future. He said that this achievement of Baljit Kaur would prove to be a source of inspiration for the youth of the state.
President of Himachal BJP Mahila Morcha presented a check of 1.51 lakh to the Chief Minister
Shimla. President of Himachal BJP Mahila Morcha Rashmi Dhar Sood presented a check of `1.51 lakh towards Chief Minister’s Relief Fund to Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur here today.
