The 29-year-old Conway, who scored a double century in the first Test against England that ended in a draw at Lord’s, has become the third batsman to get the highest ratings points in a Test debut. Earlier, England’s RE Foster scored 449 in his Test debut against Australia in 1903, while West Indies’ Kyle Meyers scored 448 in his Test debut against Bangladesh in February this year.
Talking about the bowling rankings, New Zealand’s experienced bowler Tim Southee, who bowled brilliantly in the first Test against England, has made a big difference.
