Gold and silver shine
Due to the strength of both the precious metals abroad, the prices of gold and silver also increased at the domestic level. In the MCX futures market, gold rose by Rs 33, or 0.07 per cent, to Rs 49,160 per 10 grams. Gold Mini also rose by Rs 33 to Rs 48,941 per 10 grams.
Silver was sold at Rs 71,493 per kg with an increase of Rs 262 or 0.70 percent. Silver Mini shone by Rs 202 to Rs 71,505 per kg.
In the international market, spot gold rose by $ 1.90 to $ 1,894.60 an ounce. US gold futures for August also rose by $ 1.90 to $ 1,896.30 an ounce. Silver spot rose by $ 0.13 to sell at $ 27.77 an ounce.
