6 crore people will be vaccinated in Bihar in next 6 months: Nitish
Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said that in the next six months, six crore people will be vaccinated against Corona. He said that the aim of our people is that the people of the state should not have to go out for treatment.
The Chief Minister said in the review meeting of the Health Department that the rate of corona infection has come down but there is a need to speed up the investigation of corona infection.
Appealing to everyone to be aware of corona infection, he said that everyone must use a mask.
We are taking all necessary steps to prevent corona infection, he said. Testing, treatment and vaccination work has to be done better. We are constantly trying to vaccinate all people.
The Chief Minister said that so far more than one crore 16 lakh people have been vaccinated and 6 crore people are to be vaccinated in the next six months.
He asked the officials to do micro level planning at the panchayat level, ward level, so that no one is left out of getting the vaccine.
The Chief Minister further said, “Our aim is that we do not have to go out of Bihar for treatment under compulsion.
In the meeting, Additional Chief Secretary, Health Department, Pratyaya Amrit gave complete information regarding corona infection, COVID-19 vaccination and vaccination campaign.
