Due to the rising prices of petrol and diesel across the country, inflation is touching the sky. For the last few days, while the price of petrol has exceeded Rs 100, today diesel has also touched the century mark. In Rajasthan’s Sri Ganganagar, the rising price of diesel has crossed the Rs 100 mark today. Diesel is being sold here at the rate of Rs 100.05 per liter. This is probably a record in the country, when the rising price of diesel has crossed Rs 100 a liter. In Sri Ganganagar, the price of petrol has increased even today and it has reached Rs 107 a litre. Petrol in Sriganganagar, Rajasthan, where petrol is being sold at the rate of Rs 107.22 per liter today. At the same time, diesel is being sold at the rate of Rs 100.05 per liter. Petrol became costlier by Rs 1.63 in the 12 days of June, while the price of diesel has also increased by Rs 1.60. Apart from Rajasthan, people are also worried about the rising prices of petrol and diesel in many other states of the country. Due to the increasing economic crisis amid the lockdown due to Corona, people are being hit double by the rising prices of petrol and diesel. At this time the price of petrol and diesel is increasing tremendously. Talking about the 12 days of the month of June only, then petrol became costlier by about Rs 2 only. After this increase, petrol has reached around Rs 105 in many cities of the country. Today, the rate of petrol in Delhi has increased by 27 paise per liter while the price of diesel has increased by 23 paise per liter.
