Euro 2020: France beat former world champions Germany 1-0

Defending world champions France defeated 2014 world champions Germany 1-0 in the Group F match of Euro 2020 played here on Tuesday. Hosts Germany got off to a great start in the match played at their home stadium, the Allianz Arena. But she failed to score. However, in the 20th minute of the match, luck favored France and host Germany’s Mateus Hummels hit the ball in his own net.
