The Provincial Trade Board, Karnprayag Trade Union, expressed its strong objection to the extension of the Corona curfew for a week, and decided to keep the market closed on the day of weekly closure. Along with this, a memorandum was sent to the Chief Minister through the Deputy Collector regarding the opening of business establishments. In a meeting held under the chairmanship of Brijesh Bisht, President of Karnprayag Trade Association, the business leaders said that due to the closure of the market for two months last year and this year also for more than one month, there is a financial crisis in front of the trader. Despite this, the government is taking decisions keeping business interests at bay. While the speed of vaccination necessary to prevent the epidemic is not being increased. Traders said that on the one hand, there is talk of opening the Chardham Yatra for the local public. At the same time, the closure of hotels and lodges is not being embraced. Former Trade Union President Harish Sati, Taxi-Maxi Federation State President Dr. Madan Mohan Navani said that the government remembered to open sweet shops five days a week, but the traders who closed their business establishments for months are slowing down the pace of corona infection. It is expected that, keeping their interests at bay, the corona curfew has been extended till June 22.
