NIA raids ex-encounter expert Pradeep Sharma’s house
SUV-hiren case
The National Investigation Agency (NIA) raided former encounter specialist Pradeep Sharma’s house in Andheri in connection with the ongoing probe into the SUV planting and murder of businessman Mansukh Hiren. An NIA team raided and searched his house and later took Sharma into custody.
The NIA has taken this action in the sensational case of SUV with 20 gelatin sticks and threatening note near Antilia, the house of industrialist Mukesh Ambani on February 25.
Soon after, the police recovered the SUV owner’s body from the Thane Creek swamp on March 5. A major political dispute had started in both the cases.
