Petrol crosses Rs 103 in Mumbai, close to Rs 97 in Delhi
Oil marketing companies increased the price of petrol and diesel again today after a day. Petrol became costlier by up to 27 paise and diesel by 30 paise in four major metros of the country. Due to this, petrol crossed Rs 103 per liter and diesel Rs 95 per liter in Mumbai. Petrol in Chennai also crossed Rs 98 per liter for the first time. Petrol in Delhi and Kolkata is very close to Rs 97 per liter.
According to leading oil marketing company Indian Oil Corporation, the price of petrol in Delhi rose by 27 paise to Rs 96.93 and that of diesel by 28 paise to Rs 87.69 per liter.
So far in June, the price of petrol has increased by Rs 2.70 and diesel by Rs 2.54 in Delhi. Earlier in May, petrol was costlier by Rs 3.83 and diesel by Rs 4.42.
The price of petrol in Mumbai increased by 26 paise and that of diesel by 30 paise. There, one liter of petrol is priced at Rs 103.08 and diesel for Rs 95.14.
In Chennai, petrol became costlier by 23 paise to Rs 98.14 and diesel by 27 paise to Rs 92.31.
In Kolkata, the price of petrol increased by 26 paise and that of diesel by 29 paise. Today there petrol reached Rs 96.84 and diesel at Rs 90.54 per liter.
Petrol and diesel prices are reviewed daily and based on that new prices are implemented every day from 6 am.
