Congress celebrating birthday as service day
Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi turned 51 today. On his birthday, prominent leaders of Congress and several other parties congratulated him and wished him good health and long life. Rahul Gandhi was born on June 19, 1970. Rahul Gandhi has decided not to celebrate his birthday this year in view of the situation arising out of the Corona pandemic, though party workers celebrated ‘Seva Diwas’ by distributing rations, medical kits and masks to the needy people.
The party had already written a letter to the state Congress committees, various organizations and departments of the party, asking them not to organize any kind of celebration on the occasion of Rahul Gandhi’s birthday and not to put up any hoardings or posters, but the resources available with them. Use it to help the needy people. On the birthday of Rahul Gandhi, many senior leaders of Congress and many prominent leaders of other parties also congratulated him. Senior Congress leader and Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot tweeted, “Wishing Rahul Gandhi ji a very happy birthday. I wish him a long and healthy life. Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel and Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh also congratulated Rahul Gandhi. Bhupesh Baghel said that there is talk of love in the midst of hatred, talk of being fearless in the midst of fear, talking of values in the midst of wired political correctness. It is not easy to stand between opposite currents and turn their attitude. But this politics above compromise makes you Rahul Gandhi. Happy birthday to the leader.
