Uttar Pradesh : Roads and bridges are the basis of development: Keshav Prasad Maurya

Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of 200 projects of Jhansi, Lalitpur and Jalaun in Jhansi on Saturday : Ajay Singh Chauhan

Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya, on Saturday, in Jhansi, the land of Rani Laxmibai, a symbol of bravery and courage, former minister Ravindra Shukla, MP Anurag Sharma, District President Jamuna Prasad Kushwaha, MP Bhanu Pratap Singh Verma, Hargovind Kushwaha, Ram Tirath Singhal, Mukesh Mishra, MLAs and Along with other public representatives, a total of 200 projects (cost 93299.71 lakh length 593 km) of the department were inaugurated and the foundation stone laid for the all-round development of various assemblies of Lalitpur, Jalaun and Jhansi. These projects will lead to all round development of the area.
In his address after the inauguration of various projects at Mukta Kashi Manch, Jhansi, Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya said that there has been a qualitative improvement in the condition of roads in the entire state in the last four and a half years. Earlier on entering Uttar Pradesh, bad roads were seen, but now the condition of the roads has become better. Mr. Maurya said that roads are the basis of development. Roads and bridges not only provide connectivity, but also marketing. The services also get a better atmosphere. Farmers and small traders can easily take their goods to the market, and they get good rates. He said that a network of roads has been laid in Uttar Pradesh as per the aspirations of the people of Uttar Pradesh. And we are working continuously in this direction. He also said that we are giving special emphasis on rural roads. In view of the problem of traffic jam in the urban area, decisions have been taken to build more and more bypasses, flyovers are being built. A large number of rail overhead bridges are being built. And along with the river bridge, pontoon bridges are also being constructed. Ring roads are under construction in many big cities. Three meters wide roads are being made five meters. About two and a half thousand unconnected habitations with a population of up to 250 are being connected with connectivity routes this year. The newly constructed flyover was inaugurated by the department. With the construction of this bridge, the common people passing through here will get the facility of jam-free traffic and will also save time. He took public hearing of the problems and complaints of the general public at the Circuit House of Jhansi and directed the concerned officers to resolve all the complaints.
