Three arrested with -200 grams smack

Kotwali Police has busted a smack smuggling gang in Dehradun district of Uttarakhand from Bareilly. Police have arrested three people in the car with two hundred grams of smack. The police have registered a case against the accused under the NDPS Act. The accused were produced in the court and sent to jail by the police. Kotwali police has already sent four other people involved in the gang to jail. The value of the seized smack is estimated to be around Rs 20 lakh. Kotwali police has busted a big gang involved in smack smuggling in recent days. On Monday late night, three people, including the gang leader, who were riding in a car, were arrested with two hundred grams of smack. The arrested accused include Monis son Mehruddin resident of Vizamau, police station Hafiyaganj district Bareilly UP, lawyer Ahmed son Khaleel Ahmed resident of Tiliapur police station Fateganj district Bareilly UP and Mohammad Anees son Mohammad Shaheed resident of Maispur police station CBganj district Bareilly UP. Monis is the gang leader among the arrested accused. It is alleged that by getting the local people involved in the business of drug smuggling, he supplies drugs in Pachhwadoon through them. CO Vikasnagar VD Uniyal said that a case has been registered against the accused. The accused were produced in the court and sent to jail. The Kotwali police had earlier arrested four other gang members for smack smuggling and sent them to jail.
