Uttarakhand / Haridwar : Government should take strict action by imposing Rasuka on those who forcibly convert: Swami Kailashanand Giri

Niranjan Peethadheeshwar Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Swami Kailashanand Giri Maharaj reached the All India Shripanch Nirmohi Ani Akhara at Bairagi Camp and offered prayers at Panchmukhi Hanuman Temple and held a meeting with Vaishnava saints. During the meeting, Swami Kailashanand Giri Maharaj has expressed strong displeasure over the forced conversion of more than one thousand Hindus in Ghaziabad. He has alleged that some fanatical Muslims, Muslim religious leaders and clerics are busy in Islamizing this country. He said that there is already a law against conversion in the country and those who have been found involved in it. Strict action should be taken against them. Swami Kailashanand Giri Maharaj said that the plans of those who Islamized the country would never succeed. He has also demanded a probe into foreign funding for conversion. He has also demanded capital punishment by registering a case of sedition against both the persons arrested for converting. Swami Kailashanand Giri Maharaj said that he will hold talks with Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in this regard and will demand the imposition of Rasuka against those who do such an act. He said that the President of Akhara Parishad, Shri Mahant Narendra Giri Maharaj, from time to time, comes forward on issues related to religion and makes the society aware. The entire Sant Samaj is standing shoulder to shoulder with him. President of Shri Panch Nirmohi Ani Akhara, Shri Mahant Rajendra Das Maharaj has said that even Muslim religious leaders living in the country should stop such people from converting. He has said that it is not proper at all to convert someone by giving temptation or forcibly. He said that strict action is needed against those who do this by enacting a separate law. Shri Mahant Rajendradas Maharaj said that the Sant Samaj will soon meet the President and the Prime Minister and demand a strict law regarding the forced conversion case. Muslim religious leaders should also break their silence on this matter and they should also oppose it. He said that all Hindu religious leaders should come forward and make the society aware. So that such acts can be stopped. Harassment of Hindus will not be tolerated at all.
