The District Magistrate said that for prevention of COVID infection and reducing the effect of possible third wave, COVID behavior and vaccination is the only way, for this all the Deputy District Magistrates, MOICs will have to work under a special strategy in their respective areas. The District Magistrate directed all the MOICs to complete the vaccination work on priority by sending mobile teams to villages in a planned manner. He directed the Chief Medical Officer if the vaccine is being received in sufficient quantity, then the jumbo site should be increased. For this also, the Deputy District Magistrate should mark the site for the site in their respective areas, so that there should be enough space so that social distancing is maintained. He said that not a single dose of vaccine should be wasted, if there are less people at any site, due to which there is a possibility of wastage of the new vaccine, in such a situation they should be vaccinated by coordinating at the nearest site. He said that a jumbo site should be made at Tilu Roteli, Survey Check for the frontline workers and their families. During this it was told that in development block Chakrata, 51 villages, 05 in Sahaspur and 22 villages in Raipur, more than 95 percent vaccination has been done. On this, he directed all the MOICs to submit the details of villages and areas under their respective areas, where more than 95 percent of the people of 18 to 44 years and above 45 years of age have been vaccinated. He directed all the sub-district magistrates to get the details of the personnel of hotels located in their respective areas so that the vaccination work of these people could be executed by planning. The District Magistrate directed all the sub-district magistrates to ensure compliance of COVID behavior in their respective areas as well as to conduct awareness programs through various mediums. He said that all the Deputy District Magistrates should strictly follow the rules of sampling, surveillance works and use of masks in public places and markets in their areas in coordination with the police. He said that it is often being seen that some fruits and vegetables, vendors, shopkeepers, shop workers, public are not following the rules of use of masks and social distance, while taking action against such people, warning is issued. It should be done that in case of violation of rules in future, strict action will be taken under the Disaster Management Act. District Magistrate Dr. Ashish Kumar Srivastava has said that as a result of the positive report of 43 people received in view of corona virus infection in the district, the number of people infected with corona till the guest in the district has gone up to 110933, out of which a total of 106265 persons are undergoing treatment. In the district, 10 home isolation kits were distributed by the district administration and 06 by SDRF and 11 in different development blocks. Similarly, information about their health was obtained by contacting 70 persons living in home isolation from the COVID control room today.
