BCB expected to meet Cricket Australia’s demands regarding T20 series

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has said that all matches of the five-match home T20 series against Australia will be played at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium. The board has expressed confidence that it will find the best possible solution to all Cricket Australia’s demands regarding the T20 series.

Earlier, Cricket Australia is understood to have asked the BCB to fulfill three requirements to go ahead with the tour. He had demanded that during the team’s stay in Bangladesh, his hotel should not have any external borders as a precaution against the corona epidemic.
At the same time, the Australian players were also reluctant to leave the immigration center after reaching Dhaka and wanted to reach the hotel directly from the airport to avoid any possibility of corona infection through the people present in the immigration center and surrounding areas. BCB had planned to host the series in Chattogram and Dhaka, but Cricket Australia was unwilling to accept it. He had demanded that the five T20 matches should be played at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka.

BCB has agreed to host all matches in Dhaka. “Cricket Australia’s demand was that all matches be played at one venue and we have decided that all matches will be played at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka,” he said in a statement. As far as immigration crossing is concerned, special arrangements will be made for this. One cannot enter the country without meeting immigration requirements, but as they have informed us they do not wish to enter a hall room for immigration.
