Uttarakhand / Haridwar : One arrested in theft case in a house under construction

Sidkul police station has arrested an accused in the case of stealing plastic pipes by entering the under construction house in Gangotri Vihar Enclave of the area. The police have also recovered 80 pipes from the possession of the accused. Police Station President LS Butola said that Tanjim Ali, a resident of Gangotri Enclave Rawali Mehdood, had lodged a report regarding the theft of 150 plastic pipes by breaking the lock of his under-construction house. After registering the report, the police team engaged in search of the thieves, on the information of the informer, arrested Salempur Mehdood, a resident of Azam near Denso Chowk. During interrogation, Azam told that he along with two other associates of Faizan resident Bogla and Sultan resident Imlikheda had carried out the theft incident. On his behest, 80 pipes kept hidden in the ruins near Danson Chowk were recovered. Efforts are on to arrest the absconding accused. Soon both will be arrested. The police team included SHO LS Butola, SI Manish Singh Negi, constables Anil Kandari and Gopichand.
