BSP will fight alone in UP and Uttarakhand assembly elections: Mayawati
Ahead of next year’s Uttar Pradesh assembly elections, news of political alliances has started coming in. Owaisi’s party AIMIM and BSP will fight the upcoming assembly elections in UP together. Amidst these speculations, Bahujan Samaj Party President and former UP Chief Minister Mayawati has clarified that her party BSP will go alone in the assembly elections of Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Mayawati tweeted on Sunday morning and wrote that news is being circulated in the media since yesterday that Owaisi’s party and BSP will fight the upcoming assembly general elections in UP together. This news is completely false, misleading and factless. There is not even an iota of truth in this and BSP denies it.
Mayawati further wrote that in this regard, it is again clarified by the party that, except Punjab, in UP and Uttarakhand, this general election to the assembly in 2022, BSP will not fight any alliance with any party, that is, it will fight alone.
Mayawati said that keeping in mind such fabricated and misleading news about BSP, now BSP National General Secretary and Rajya Sabha MP Satish Chandra Mishra has been made the National Coordinator of BSP Media Cell. Along with this, it is also an appeal to the media that before writing, showing and publishing any other misleading news of this kind in relation to Bahujan Samaj Party and National President of the party etc. get it.
At the same time, Mayawati has intensified the exercise of repairing the organization before the assembly elections. She herself is reviewing each circle. The Chief Sector In-charges have been asked to rectify the organization up to the booth level by the end of the month, so that preparations for the assembly elections can be started in the next two months. On the instructions of the BSP supremo, work has been started to make the organization up to the booth level.
