Himachal Pradesh / Parwanoo : Lion Saminder Garg handed over the command of the club
Lions Club Parwanoo-Kalka which has been active in Parwanoo and Kalka region for the last 13 years and is engaged in all kinds of services to the society, announced its team for the new season. The meeting was held in a hotel in Pinjore under the chairmanship of Lion Pawan Sharma, the senior member of the club, in which Lion Saminder Garg, who was previously the most successful president, was again handed over the command of the club.
Lion Saminder Garg had done very important projects in his earlier tenure. In which majorly the project of eye screening of children was the most successful and appreciated by the public. In which about ten thousand children in Parwanoo and nearby government and non-government schools were screened by a machine imported from German with a touch-equipped method.
Parents came to know whether there is any problem in their children’s eyes or not and if there is a problem, then it was diagnosed by an eye specialist. In the rest of the team, Saminder Garg, the post of secretary was given to Lion Achhe Lal Kushwaha and the treasurer was given to Lion Rajiv Agarwal. Apart from this, Lion Arun Agarwal and Lion Manohar Lal Pathania were awarded the post of Vice President. On this occasion, two social workers of the city Rajesh Gupta and Ketan Patel took membership as new members of the club.
On this occasion, Lion Kuldeep Sharma, Lion Anand and Lion Vikas Seth were present in addition to District Secretary Lion Vineet Goyal as observers. Lion Saminder Garg thanked all the members of the club for being re-elected as the President and reposing faith in himself and promised that he would try his best to live up to the expectations of the club.
