Jammu : Two big blasts at Airforce station in 5 minutes, entire area sealed – NIA and NSG will investigate
Two major explosions took place in a span of 5 minutes late last night in the highly security technical area of Jammu airport. According to the information, there was a stir after hearing the sound of the blast. If sources are to be believed, the blast was so strong that an area of about one kilometer was shaken. According to the officials, at present the police, bomb disposal squad and forensic team are present at the spot. Officials said the blast took place at around 2.15 pm. The first explosion caused the roof of a building to collapse and the second explosion occurred on the ground. In a short time, the team of NIA and NSG will also reach the Air Force station and investigate. Officials said the security forces sealed the area within minutes. Senior officials, police and forensic experts have reached the spot. There was no immediate information about any casualties. There is no official statement on this matter yet.
This technical area falls near the Jammu airbase, where two drones have been used for the blast.
