Uttarakhand : Demand from CM to make Tibetan school a KV
The Sarathi Social Service Foundation has demanded that the Central Tibetan School in Herbertpur should be made a Kendriya Vidyalaya. In this regard, foundation officials have submitted a memorandum to Chief Minister Tirath Singh Rawat and requested for early action. On Sunday morning, following the Corona guidelines, the foundation officials met Chief Minister Tirath Singh Rawat in Doon. The officials submitted a memorandum to the Chief Minister and demanded that the Central Tibetan School at Herbertpur be made Kendriya Vidyalaya. Said that the number of Indian students in Herbertpur Central Tibetan School is more than that of Tibetan society. But, being a Tibetan school, local students are getting admission in the school only after class five. He has requested the Chief Minister to take immediate action on the demand in favor of the regional students. Those who submitted the memorandum included Shyama Devi, Sanjay Bhambhoria, Manish Sharma, Yogesh Verma, Devendra Singh Dhiman, Manju Negi etc.
