Uttarakhand : The minister gave instructions to give jobs to the deceased dependents of sugar mills according to their qualification
State’s Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Sugarcane Development and Sugar Industry, Swami Yatheeswaranand held a review meeting on the issue of giving jobs to the dependents of sugar mills. He said that the government is serious about providing jobs to the dependents of the deceased. Taking a meeting in the Legislative Assembly, Minister Swami Yatheeswaranand said that a list of deceased dependents should be prepared in government and cooperative sugar mills and action should be taken to provide jobs to the deceased dependents according to their qualifications. In this regard, the dependents of government and cooperative sugar mills will be able to get benefits like permanent, contract, outsourcing and seasonal workers. The Minister said that if there is a need for this, then the rules will be changed or the rules will be relaxed. He said that the economic condition of the workers working in the sugar mill is not good beforehand, so delay in this matter will not be acceptable even on humanitarian grounds. On this occasion in-charge Secretary Sugarcane Development Chandresh Yadav, In-charge Secretary Finance V. Shanmugam, Additional Secretary Finance Amita Joshi, General Manager of Sugar Mills and General Manager of Sugar Federation were present.
