Uttarakhand / Vikas Nagar : Alleged social boycott of five families

In the Gram Panchayat Latau of Kalsi tehsil, the dispute of washing utensils with scheduled caste people is not taking its name to stop. Daulat Kunwar, national convener of the India Constitutional Rights Protection Forum, alleged that people of eight villages, including Latau, have called a mahapanchayat and issued a decree to boycott five scheduled caste families. In a press conference organized in Vikasnagar, Daulat Kunwar, the convener of the Constitution Protection Forum, told that after taking legal action in the matter of washing utensils from Scheduled Caste families in Latau village, people of eight villages organized a Mahapanchayat on 30th June. A social boycott of five families has been announced. Said that wherever we have land and property, the movement of people there has been completely stopped. Told that after the said decree, the five families are living in the shadow of fear. Daulat Kunwar said that the accused against whom a case has been registered. One of the accused has threatened to kill him by abusing him on social media. Daulat Kunwar told that the Yuva Morcha has given a complaint to SSP Dehradun in this matter.
