46,148 new cases in 24 hours, 979 deaths
The rate of corona infection is decreasing in the country, but still cases of infection are seen in rural areas. However, the speed of the second wave of corona virus is on a steady slope. In the last 24 hours, 46,148 new cases of infection were reported, while 979 people have died due to infection.
According to the data released on Thursday by the Union Health Ministry, where there has been a decrease of 1.40 lakh in new cases in 30 days. At the same time, after April 12, less than one thousand deaths have also been registered in the country. Till May 26, more than 1.80 lakh cases were being reported in the country every day, but on Sunday, 46,148 new cases were found in the country. For 21 days, the number of daily patients in the country is less than one lakh. Apart from this, 979 people have died due to infection in the last one day. While 58,578 people have also recovered from Corona. With this, the number of active cases in the country has come down to 5,72,994. So far 3,96,730 people have died of corona. The rate of people recovering from corona in the country has increased to 96.80 percent. A day before this, 50,040 new corona cases and 1258 deaths were registered in the country.
More than three crore infected
The total number of corona cases in the country has increased to three crore 2 lakh 79 thousand 331, out of which two crore 93 lakh 09 thousand 607 patients have become healthy. At the same time, treatment of 5 lakh 72 thousand 994 patients is going on. More cases of corona are still being found in Maharashtra. There have been 9,974 new cases and 143 deaths in the last one day. At the same time, 39 new cases and 21 deaths have been registered in Madhya Pradesh. The death rate here is the highest in the whole country. Rajasthan reported 162 cases and four deaths. At the same time, 82 new cases and two people died in Uttarakhand. In Uttar Pradesh, 75 people have died in a day. 298 and 1836 new cases have been found in Punjab and West Bengal respectively.
Corona investigation done more than 40.63 crores in the country
According to the ministry, there has been a decrease in 13409 active cases in the last one day. At present, the active rate is 1.89 percent as compared to the total cases in the country. For 46 consecutive days, the number of people getting more healthy than new patients is being recorded in the country. Last Sunday, 15.70 lakh samples were tested in a single day. So far the investigation figure has crossed 40.63 crores. In the last one day, 2.94 percent samples have been found corona infected. While the weekly infection rate was recorded at 2.81 percent during the last one week.
Situation under control in most districts
The Health Ministry said that for the last 49 days, there is a decline in the infection rate. This sequence is still going on and as a result of this, the situation is under control in more than 550 districts of the country. The infection rate here is far below five percent. However, in some states including Maharashtra, the infection rate is still higher than this where continuous monitoring is being done.
Overtakes America in Vaccination
According to the data released by the Ministry of Health, 17,21,268 vaccines of corona virus were administered in the country in the last 24 hours, after which the total number of vaccinations was 32,36,63,297.
