Uttar Pradesh / Lucknow : Doctors Day celebrated under Go Healthy, Go Green in KGMU, cycle rally taken out

King George’s Medical University organized a cycle rally on the occasion of Doctor’s Day on Thursday. The rally was started from SP Ground and the slogan of this program was kept. The cycle rally was flagged off by the Chief Guest of the program and Vice Chancellor of King George’s Medical University Lt Gen Bipin Puri along with his wife Mrs. Anita Puri. On this occasion, the Vice Chancellor of the Medical University told the students that it is very important to take care of health along with studies. He also asked to adopt the slogan of the program in life. Puri said that to keep oneself fit, Yoga, Sports, cycling etc. should be adopted in daily life style. This rally went from Nadwa College to Parivartan Chowk via Dali Ganj crossing and from there back to Medical University campus and ended. On this occasion, the President Athletic Association also advised the students to play, jump and stay healthy. In this program the Vice Chancellor and his wife Anita Puri as well as the Vice Chancellor Prof. Vini. T Sharma, Prof. AP Tikku, Prof. SN Shankhwar, Prof. Rashmi Kushwaha, Prof. Kshitij Srivastava, Prof. Sandeep Tiwari, Prof. Pavitra Rastogi, Prof. Ashish Kumar, Prof. Neeraj Mishra, Dr. Anjani Pathak and other doctors, staff and students participated.
