Uttarakhand / Chamoli : DM did quarterly inspection of EVM strong room

The EVMs and VVPads are secure located in the Collectorate premises at Gopeshwar, the district headquarters of Chamoli. District Magistrate / District Election Officer Swati S Bhadauria on Thursday conducted quarterly inspection of EVM strong room located in the Collectorate premises in the presence of office bearers of political parties. During the inspection, EVMs and VVPAT machines were found safe and well-organized in double lock. After the inspection, in the presence of office bearers of political parties, the strong room was again double locked and sealed. During this, Additional District Magistrate Hemant Verma, Assistant Returning Officer BS Rawat, Congress’s media in-charge Ravindra Singh Negi, Congress’s Block President Anand Singh Panwar, Aam Aadmi Party’s Kuldeep Singh, CPM’s Gyanendra Khantwal etc. were present.
