Minister for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari today announced revised guidelines for MSMEs including retail and wholesale trade as MSMEs. Gadkari said that 2.5 crore retail and wholesale traders will benefit from the revised guidelines. He said that retail and wholesale trade was so far kept out of the purview of MSMEs, but now under the revised guidelines, retail and wholesale trade can also get the benefit of getting loans under priority sector as per Reserve Bank of India (RBI) guidelines. will get.

With the revised guidelines, retail and wholesale traders will now be allowed to register on the enterprise registration portal.
