Legislature party meeting may be held today
Uttarakhand Chief Minister Tirath Singh Rawat has given a letter to BJP National President JP Nadda that he wants to resign. According to sources, the reason behind this is being told to be a constitutional crisis. Uttarakhand Chief Minister Tirath Singh Rawat arrives at his residence to meet BJP President JP Nadda in Delhi. Earlier on Wednesday night also he had met the party president. According to the information received from the sources, the Chief Minister can meet the Governor today. Also, the legislative party meeting can be held tomorrow.
CM said : Chief Minister Tirath Singh Rawat has said in the letter that according to Article 164-A, he had to become a member of the Legislative Assembly in six months after becoming the Chief Minister, but Article 151 says if the Legislative Assembly election is less than one year. If left, by-elections cannot be held there. I want to resign from the post of Chief Minister so that there is no constitutional crisis in Uttarakhand. Legislative assembly elections are going to be held in Uttarakhand next year. Chief Minister Tirath Singh Rawat was summoned to Delhi. Apart from them, two senior BJP leaders Satpal Maharaj and Dhan Singh Rawat were also called to Delhi. Since then it was being said that important changes can happen in Uttarakhand.
