Uttar Pradesh / Basti : Bina Kumari Meena inaugurated the Van Mahotsav

Principal Secretary Food and Logistics and Stamp and Registration Department Bina Kumari Meena started the festival by planting Devvriksha Peepal on the occasion of establishment of Van Mahotsav/Smriti Vatika organized in village Aspur Van Vihar Basti.
In the program, along with the Principal Secretary, District Magistrate Soumya Aggarwal planted buckwheat, Superintendent of Police Ashish Srivastava jackfruit, Divisional Forest Officer Naveen Kumar Shakya gave grandeur to the festival by planting mahogany saplings. Sadar MLA Dayaram Chaudhary and Chief Development Officer Dr. Rajesh Kumar Prajapati also planted saplings in the front lines of Van Mahotsav. A sapling was planted by Mrs. Vishwaprabha Pandey, which she planted in the memory of her husband who died recently from Corona.

In this festival of massive plantation in the district, SDM Sadar Asharam Verma, Deputy Commissioner Food and Logistics Satyendra Kumar, DSO Raman Mishra, Stamp AIG Manoj Kumar Shukla, Deputy RAO Gorakhnath Tripathi, RMO Rajiv Mishra, Deputy Commissioner MNREGA Inderpal Singh Yadav, Sub Registrar Jitendra Tiwari, Other officers and officers/employees of Forest Department were present.
