Uttarakhand / Pauri : Congress demands arrest and resignation of Jwalapur MLA, effigy burning

For the investigation of the allegations of rape leveled by the woman on BJP MLA Suresh Rathore from Jwalapur in Haridwar and the demand for the arrest and resignation of the MLA, the Congressmen raised the demand for a fair investigation of the matter by burning the effigy of the state government. On Sunday, the District Congress Committee burnt the effigy of the state BJP government in Pauri on the call of state president Pritam Singh. While demonstrating, District President Kameshwar Rana said that the MLA of the BJP government, which came to power by taking women’s votes under the guise of women’s security, has been accused of rape by a woman leader of his own party. Which should be investigated fairly and BJP MLA should resign immediately on moral grounds. The workers also raised the demand to arrest the MLA by raising slogans.
