West Bengal : Alive bomb found under train at Burdwan railway station, panic among passengers

There was panic when a bomb-like object was spotted under a train parked at the Sthali railway station in East Burdwan, West Bengal. Later, in the investigation of the Bomb Disposal Squad, that bomb came out alive, which was defused.
Last evening, there was an atmosphere of panic in the entire station premises after a bomb was found under the train near platform number four of East Sthali railway station in East Burdwan district of West Bengal. A bomb-like object was seen under a train parked at the railway station last evening.
When the object looked suspicious, it was informed to the RPF. After the information, the RPF officers who reached the spot laid siege to the railway track and removed the train from there. Later the bomb disposal squad was called after giving information about this. After getting information about the incident, the Bomb Disposal Squad reached there and recovered the bomb. It was later deactivated.
After getting information about the bomb in time, a major accident was averted. GRP and RPF officials are probing the matter. There was an atmosphere of panic at the railway station regarding this whole incident.
