Chinese astronauts walk outside the new space station

Two Chinese astronauts have installed equipment outside their country’s space station for the first time. This is his second space walk in the history of China’s space program.
Liu Boming was the first to exit the space station’s Tianhe (Harmony of the Heavens) core module, followed by Tang Hongbo about three hours later.
They worked for six hours and 46 minutes of extravehicular activity (EVA) in view of setting up the equipment needed to support future activities on the space station.
Bomming attached a foot restraint and platform to the end of the station’s 10-metre-long robotic arm, and then attached the arm itself. This was followed by a test of arm control by Shenzhou 12’s commander, Ni Haisheng. He did this by exiting the Tianhe module after booming.
