Uttarakhand / Champawat : Demonstration of villagers to demand improvement of bad road

Villagers demonstrated for the demand of improvement of the bad road in Moolakot-Patangaon-Kajina Punauli of development block party. He warned of violent agitation if the asphaltization was not done in time. In the demonstration organized under the leadership of former BJP District President Himesh Kalkhudiya, villagers said that asphaltization could not be done in this road built under the assured employment scheme 28 years ago. Due to heavy rains, potholes have formed in many places in the road. Scrubbers etc are off. Due to which all the water is draining the fertile fields of the villagers and ruining their crops. People said that if asphaltization is not done on this road soon, then they will be bound for a violent agitation. Mohan Singh Patni, Narayan Singh Patni, Rakesh Singh, Balwant Singh, Amar Singh, Anand Singh Patni, Chetan Patni, Khadak Singh Patni, Prem Rawat etc. were among the protesters.
