Uttar Pradesh : It is necessary to control population for the purpose of providing better facilities to all citizens – Chief Minister
Presentation regarding Uttar Pradesh Population Policy 2021-30 was made in front of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath at Lok Bhavan here today. After reviewing the presentation, the Chief Minister said that in order to provide better facilities to all the citizens, it is necessary to control the population.
The Chief Minister said that it is necessary to control the rate of population growth for the development of the state. The vision of a better tomorrow can be realized by controlling the population. He said that in the proposed policy, special attention should be paid to making public aware on important issues like population growth, for this, continuous programs should be run.
The Chief Minister said that people should be told that a small family is the basis of prosperity. Due to reduced population density, people will get better environment.
The Chief Minister said that stabilization of population is very necessary for the establishment of a healthy society. The basic needs of the society can be met by stabilizing the population.
