Plantation of 300 saplings done in Kamdhenu complex

Under the Clean Saharanpur Green Saharanpur campaign by the Municipal Corporation, a massive tree plantation was done on Thursday at Kamdhenu Complex on Janta Road. On this occasion, Municipal Commissioner Gyanendra Singh appealed to the people to cooperate in the campaign by planting saplings in their homes and establishments. He said that in Indian culture one tree is considered equal to hundred sons.

Around 300 saplings were planted under a massive tree plantation program organized in conjunction with Councilor Virat Puri at Kamdhenu Complex on Janta Road. Municipal Commissioner Gyanendra Singh, Deputy Commissioner Shaktisen Maurya, former MLA Rajiv Gumber, Councilors Nand Kishore Sharma and Gopal Das, I.I.A. Saharanpur Chairman Pramod Sadana, National Vice President Krishna Rajiv Singhal, Kamdhenu Industries Association President Raj Kumar Arora, Sushil Sadana, BJP’s former Metropolitan President Amit Gagneja etc. planted trees.

Municipal commissioner Gyanendra Singh while emphasizing on tree plantation said that one tree is equal to hundred sons. Giving information about the establishment of Green Fund by the corporation, he exhorted the people that they can contribute to the fund in the form of seeds, plants and cash. Referring to the good house started by the corporation, he said that helping someone should be the main aim of life. Former MLA Rajiv Gumber said that if life is to be saved from the scorching heat, then the tree plantation drive will have to be increased. Writer Dr. Virendra Azam called upon the people to plant at least one sapling in their house on the anniversary of marriage, birthday of children and death anniversary of elders. I.I.A. Pramod Sadana, Chairman, supported the tree plantation campaign of the corporation and said that not only plant trees but also protect them.

In a grand program organized earlier, Municipal Commissioner Gyanendra Singh, Councilor Virat Puri, Nand Kishore Sharma and Gopal Das, Deputy Labor Commissioner Shaktisen Maurya, former MLA Rajiv Gumber, etc. were felicitated and welcomed by the entrepreneurs. Association President Raj Kumar Arora apprised the Municipal Commissioner about the problems of the area. The city commissioner assured a solution.
