Refunds of 37050 crore issued to 17.92 lakh taxpayers

The Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) has refunded Rs 37050 crore to 17.92 lakh taxpayers till July 5 in the current financial year.

CBDT in a statement issued here today said that Income Tax Refunds of Rs.10408 crores have been made in 168,9063 cases. Corporate Tax Refunds of Rs.26642 crores have been made in 103088 cases.
