States should ensure strict compliance of anti-COVID rules: Center
The Central Government has informed the Delhi High Court that it has asked all the States and Union Territories to ensure strict compliance of national guidelines on COVID-19 management and take necessary steps under the Disaster Management Act.
The Center has said that they have also been directed to consider the implementation of targeted and prompt steps for COVID-19 management by July 31. It also mentioned that it was necessary to start activities after the reduction in the cases of COVID-19 and that the states and union territories should ensure that the entire process is done with caution. The Center, through its standing advocate Anil Soni, said this in relation to the suo motu proceedings of the High Court on the violation of the Kovid protocol in various markets in the national capital. The Center has said that the national guidelines related to COVID-19 management include covering the mouth, maintaining proper distance from each other, not spitting in public places, working from home, grading work/business hours, This includes measures like monitoring, sanitizing and disinfecting things/places from time to time.
