Uttar Pradesh / Kakori : BJP’s Neetu Yadav becomes Kakori block chief

BJP’s Neetu Yadav won the election held on Saturday for the post of Kakori block chief. Neetu Yadav defeated his rival SP’s Kamlesh Yadav by 11 votes and re-elected the Kakori block chief’s seat. Earlier in 2010, Neetu Yadav had won the election unopposed as an independent candidate.

The direct contest for Kakori block chief was between BJP’s Neetu Yadav and SP’s Kamlesh Yadav. All 56 voters cast their vote in which Neetu Yadav got 33 votes and Kamlesh Yadav got 22 votes, one voter was declared invalid. As a result Neetu Yadav won the seat by defeating Kamlesh Yadav by 11 votes.
