Free blood test camp organized on World Population Day

Milkipur : On the occasion of World Population Day, Community Science College organized free blood test, health information, and competitive program for children. World Population Day is celebrated every year on this day for the purpose of population control, the population explosion in the country has affected our development the most, the bigger the population of the country, the bigger the problems, so it is very important to reduce the increased population. Today, on July 11, 2021, on the occasion of World Population Day at Acharya Narendra Dev Agricultural and Technological University, Kumarganj, Ayodhya, the Vice Chancellor of the university, Dr. Bijendra Singh, while discussing the measures to control the increasing population, said that poverty, There is a lack of awareness about education and population. Due to which this day is celebrated to make us aware of the problems we face, the damage caused to the ecosystem and humanity. The media in-charge of the university, Dr. Akhilesh Kumar Singh said that on the occasion of World Population Day, an awareness program was organized collectively by the Food Science and Nutrition Department of the University and the campus hospital in village Lal Ka Purwa. The convener of the program, Dr. Sadhna Singh, Head of the Department of Food Science and Nutrition, said that the said program was organized under the guidance of Honorable Vice Chancellor Dr. Bijendra Singh and Dean, Community Science College, Dr. Namita Joshi. Under this program, there was a wide discussion on safe motherhood, breast cancer and cervical cancer in women, causes and prevention of women and child malnutrition and importance of vaccination. To encourage women and adolescent girls towards health, a health competition was organized among adolescent girls. In which Dhiral Mishra, Kajal Tiwari and Tanu Mishra secured first, second and third position respectively. Along with this, nutritious food competition was also organized on this occasion, in which teenagers from village Lal Ka Purva participated enthusiastically and Jyoti Pandey, Komal Shukla, Pinky Tiwari got first, second and third place respectively. Speaking in the above program, Dr. Namita Joshi advised women to recognize the symptoms of breast cancer and cervical cancer and seek medical advice immediately. The organizer of the program, Dr. Sadhna Singh highlighted the essential nutritious diet for pregnant women and babies, and Dr. Sarita Srivastava, assistant professor, highlighted the importance of vaccination in children and the importance of corona vaccination in the present time. Asha daughter-in-law Mrs. Kusumavati, who was present in the program, gave information about the benefits and facilities of institutional delivery. The program was conducted by Dr Swati Shukla. Free hemoglobin test of women and adolescent girls was also done on the occasion of this program. Mrs. Mithilesh Chaudhary, Mr. Sudhir Singh and Mr. Bhushan etc. were present in this program.
