‘Will give 300 units of electricity free’: Arvind Kejriwal made election promise in Uttarakhand

Aam Aadmi Party’s national convener and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has announced in view of the Uttarakhand elections (Uttarakhand Election 2022) that if the AAP government is formed in Uttarakhand in 2022, then every family will get 300. Electricity will be provided free of cost till the unit. “Farmers will be given free electricity and old bills will be waived,” Kejriwal said. “There will be a fresh start. There will be no power cut in the state, as has been done in Delhi,” he said.

Arvind Kejriwal said during a press conference in Dehradun today (Sunday, 11 July) that the way wheat grains are ground between two millstones, in the same way the people of Uttarakhand are getting ground between two parties. He said, “The ruling party does not have a Chief Minister at all. They make one, then after a few days it comes to know that it is useless, then they change it.”

Kejriwal said, who will think about the development of the people of Uttarakhand? Does any of these two parties care about the people of Uttarakhand, the development of Uttarakhand, the people of Uttarakhand?” Kejriwal said, adding that both the parties are fighting only for the chair.

He said, “Today there has been so much inflation that the common man is finding it difficult to run his house. Go to any family, the most unhappy are women because a man earns and gives his house to mother, sister, wife and then Women have to run the expenses of the whole month.”

AAP convener said that inflation is increasing in the country and expenses are increasing but income is not increasing. He said that Uttarakhand, which generates its own electricity and sells electricity to other states, then why do people of Uttarakhand get electricity so expensive?

He said, “One of their leaders had said on the promise of 15 lakh that this is a jumla. In such a situation, my doubt was cleared in 24 hours, when the Chief Minister here said that there is no such proposal. The Chief Minister himself Only said that it was an election gimmick, we will not be able to make electricity free.

Kejriwal said, “Many people of Uttarakhand live in Delhi. I feel that Delhi definitely has some relation with every family of Uttarakhand. All the parties together in 70 years have no one in any corner of the country. Aam Aadmi Party is doing that work in Delhi.”

Kejriwal said, “I want to assure the people of Uttarakhand that we will do all the good work that has been done in Delhi, we will do good schools, hospitals will do well, law and order will be good and everything else will also be arranged.”

He said, today I am going to guarantee four things in the field of electricity. What I say is not an election gimmick. Kejriwal does what he says. As soon as the government is formed, electricity will be made free from the first pen and old bills will be waived. Apart from this, we will not increase any tax in 5 years.
