Tourists coming from other states without the report of Corona will be sent back. DIG (Law and Order) Nilesh Anand Bharane has appealed to the tourists to strictly follow the COVID guidelines. Welcoming the tourists, he said that the tourists would be allowed entry for Uttarakhand entry on availability of documents related to Corona RTPCR negative report, registration on smart city portal and hotel booking. Bharne strictly stated that no tourist will be allowed to enter Uttarakhand without all the documents. For the last few days, even though the graph of corona in Uttarakhand has come down a bit, but the government is not showing any laxity. It is mandatory for the passengers coming to Uttarakhand from Delhi, UP and other states to bring the Corono RTPCR negative report. To come to Uttarakhand from other states, it is mandatory to have a negative report of RTPCR, antigen or rapid test. No passenger will be allowed to enter the state if there is no negative report of Corona. All the police posts on the Uttarakhand-UP border will be thoroughly investigated. The number of tourists is increasing on weekends. Taking a lesson from the huge number of tourists in Haridwar, the police-administration has also decided to take strict action.

After the crowd of five thousand tourists on Sunday, the police has decided to build an additional check post on the border. For the last two weeks, the number of tourists in Haridwar has been increasing. Tourists coming to Haridwar without corona negative report and registration will be returned. Let us inform that three to four hundred tourists are reaching Chidiyapur-Shyampur checkpost every day. SHO Shyampur Anil Chauhan said that about 100 vehicles have been sent back from the check post. Tourists from UP, Delhi, Haryana have been returned without COVID negative report and without registration. Told that 72 hours RTPCR negative report is mandatory for coming to Uttarakhand from other states.

Strict action is being taken by the Haridwar administration on the weekends so that no tourist can enter the district without a COVID negative report. Nainital Police returned 2 thousand 491 tourists entering from the borders of the district without RTPCR. 4 thousand 728 tourists arrived from outside states in the borders of the district. Out of this, only 4360 tourists who brought RTPCR and rapid antigen test reports were given entry into the district. Out of total 1241 vehicles, 1049 vehicles were admitted, 192 vehicles were sent back. For the last three days, a total of 32 thousand 934 passengers, including 8548 vehicles, were given entry into the district. On Sunday, along with checking the RTPCR report, the police kept special vigil on the jam. SSP Preeti Priyadarshini said that if you are coming to visit the district in Nainital, then get the RTPCR report checked and keep the report with you. So that it is easy to enter from the border.
